If you are planning to retire from your stressful job sometime in the future, do proper planning first. Planning will prepare you for the life ahead. Note that the plannings you should do should encompass every aspect of your life, from finance, relationships, etc. Your financial plans can involve saving from your wages during your working years.

There are many things you can indulge in to keep your retirement life occupied and happy. You could consider going into politics to help people and your community. Or you could simply engage in charity works offering your time or money to put a smile on people's face.

If you have reached retirement stage, you should really be happy to embrace it. After all, you won't have to set your alarm clock to get you up at an ungodly hour in preparation for work. Neither will you have to take orders from your boss again.

Retirement should be a time for doing those things you couldn't do while working. It means you should be able to travel far and near, when and how it pleases you. Yet, without planning, even to eat can be a challenge, let alone achieving those goals.

After retirement, you could still indulge in part time work. This of course should be something you love doing. It's only by doing something you love doing that you can enjoy working part time after retirement.
