When going through the store looking for pretend play toys, see what you can find that your child seems to have an interest in. You may not think the simple toys are the best ones, but remember what happens with many toys when they come out of the box. The child is more interested in playing with the box than the toy. That is because it is simple and can be whatever it is that they want it to be. In fact, just bringing home a few empty boxes of different sizes can mean you have found some of the best pretend play toys out there.
