Pushing Daisies Season One on DVD is something that so many people have been looking forward to ever since the end of the regular season on television. Pushing Daisies is an American drama that debuted in the United States just last October, but already has quite a following. The ABC network on American television was the first broadcasting network to jump at the chance to own it and they are sure glad that they did that. At the end of the season, ABC made the exciting announcement that the show had been picked up by the network for another season. The first season of Pushing Daisies was somewhat disappointing, but only in its length. The Writers Guild of America went on a strike last year that lasted for months, which inevitably stunted various shows and episodes. As a result of this strike, only nine episodes aired for the entire first season of Pushing Daisies. One can imagine what a disappointment that was to fans, which is why everyone is super excited about the Pushing Daisies Season One on DVD.

Pushing Daisies is a very unique television series because it is set in a world of fantasy and comedy. While life and death are very normal occurrences in everyday life, there is one man named Ned that changes the way we look at this, in the television series Pushing Daisies. Ned wields an extraordinary amount of power over both life and death in a very interesting way. Although life and death especially can be very serious things, the series Pushing Daisies keeps it light with a strong sense of humor. While there is a lot of dark humor in the series, there is also a very strong presence of sadness in the show. Ned, the main character in the show, is blessed with an amazing power to bring people back to life, but this blessing is also somewhat of a curse. He learned about this gift as a young boy, but it was a lesson that was learned the hard way for sure. His gift, while it allows him to bring people back from the dead by touching them, it can also kill them. He brings them back to life by touching them, but if he is to touch them again they are gone forever. He lost his mother at a young age, but was able to bring her back to him only to lose her again when he kissed her goodnight later that same day.

Pushing Daisies Season One on DVD is guaranteed to remind us all how great the show is, but importantly how special life really is.
