There has been some confusion surrounding the release of Niptuck season 5 on DVD. In February, Warner Bros. announced that Niptuck Season 5 on DVD would be released on May 20, 2008. However, later that month it was then announced that the previous statement saying that a release date in May was premature, and that no release date had actually been set.

Many other people had stated that they do not watch TV on their computers, which is why they own a television.

Niptuck season 5 on DVD will be released as a 5 disc set, and will be set at a retail price of $59.98. All fourteen of the seasons episodes will be included in the set, as well as many extras.
