When it comes to taboo porn, it can be argued that nothing comes close to incest sex, at least on the fronts of perversion and popularity. Despite the fact that almost all incest sex depicted on film occurs between people who are not related, the porn is widely regarded as obscene. In fact, the very idea of incest sex is so taboo that Australia, one of the most socially liberal and progressive countries on earth, has rated it as Refused Classification (RC), effectively banning and making it illegal.

When one delves into the real world and statistics of incest sex, it is easy to see why it is such a hot button issue. Although many people have been known to get off to the idea of two family members going at it, in real life incest sex is not that hot. Actually, it is not hot at all. It is estimated that as many as 20 million Americans have been victims of incest sex, perpetrated by a mother or father figure.

The National Center for Victims of Crime recently released a study that detailed the hard numbers, saying that, research indicates that 46 percent of children who are raped are victims of family members. The majority of American rape victims (61 percent) are raped before the age of 18; furthermore, 29 percent of all forcible rapes occurred when the victim was less than 11 years old. Those are some pretty scary statistics, to say the least.

Because incest sex has affected so many people, it is no wonder why pornography depicting people even pretending to be related is so offensive to some. Besides incest sex, there is also emotional incest that needs to be worried about. Although there is no actual molestation sexual activity involved, emotional incest can still just be as devastating.

Unlike incest sex, emotional incest is socially acceptable in many different countries, especially those falling into the third world category. Emotional incest is described as when a child becomes emotionally codependent with and bonded to a parent or parental figure. This usually occurs before incest sex actually takes place. It definitely takes a psychological toll on the child, and usually victims go on to have serious difficulties having healthy partnerships later on in life. When one takes an objective look at what emotional incest and incest sex really is, it usually ceases to be the subject of fantasies.
